My name is Jason Sekili, and I am an EMC actor, singer, and dancer based in New York City and local to Chicago.

I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, and I recently graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Theatre, a B.A. in Psychology, a Music Theatre Certificate, and an Integrated Marketing Communications Certificate. While at Northwestern, I served as the President of Extreme Measures A Cappella and the Marketing Director of Arts Alliance. I also was on the Executive Board for the Dolphin Show, the largest student-produced musical in the country. I’ve since relocated to NYC to continue pursuing my career as an actor.

In the summer of 2022, I worked my first professional summer stock contracts. After performing at Paul Bunyan Playhouse, I was a Performance Apprentice at the Barn Theatre, an Equity theater in Augusta, MI. I performed in five MainStage shows over a ten-week period, and I became an Equity Membership Candidate at the end of the summer. Since then, I’ve continued to perform professionally at various theaters across the U.S.

Outside of theatre, I have enjoyed exploring the fields of marketing and communications. I have worked as an intern and part-time employee for iHeartMedia in Chicago, a Marketing Assistant for Northwestern's Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts, and a Marketing Intern for Blue River PetCare. I recently completed a marketing internship for The N2 Company, and I am now working as a Marketing Specialist for Little Cloak, a subsidiary of N2. I am especially interested in arts administration work that allows me to bridge the gap between theatre, marketing, and consumer psychology.

In my free time, I enjoy watching TV shows and movies, going on adventures with my friends, traveling with my family, and singing. I'm currently binging How to Get Away with Murder, and I love to play with my poodle, Bailey, when I'm visiting my hometown!
